Thursday, April 25
Today we enjoy a nice drive as we travel to Covington, KY. This afternoon we will arrive at our hotel, Holiday Inn Riverfront.  Dinner is included tonight at Washington Platform Restaurant, which was opened in 1860 as the Johan Armleder Wine and Lager Beer Saloon. The influx of German immigrants to the area helped to establish the enterprise as a favorite gathering place near the Miami Erie Canal. Over time, the restaurant went through a myriad of owners and businesses, but was re-established in 1986 as a restaurant.    (D)

Friday, April 26
Start the morning with a full hot breakfast buffet in restaurant area.  Depart and head south to Williamstown, KY to visit The Ark Encounter.  The full sized replica of Noah’s Ark is a massive wooden structure (the largest wooden timber structure in the world) and is a full sized replica of Noah’s Ark (510 feet long and more than 50 feet tall-before the sail is added.)  The Ark includes hundreds of different displays, including a mock-up of animal stalls, recreations of how Noah and his family may have lived, and even an animatronics version of Noah that will answer questions.  It will offer the same quality as Universal Studio’s and is a one of a kind in the world.   Check out the newly opened East & West Villages adjacent to the Ark.  Lunch is available on our own at the 1500 seat two story cafeteria located aside the Ark called Emzara’s Kitchen, or one of the new Kiosks.   This afternoon we will meet a local tour guide for a Driving Tour of Cincinnati. You’ll learn about the influence of the early Scots-Irish, and later the German immigrants. Find out how many hills there are, as you explore this historic river city, with its beautiful parks and fascinating architecture. You’ll also see where such movies as Rain Main, Little Man Tait, Down And Out in Yonkers, and a Rage in Harlem were filmed. A couple of stops will be made depending upon the weather, probably at the Eden Park Overlook and at the Covington Murals.  After we drop the guide off we will travel to the boat dock in Dayton.   Here we board the Queen City Riverboat for a private evening Dinner Cruise with Contemporary Gospel Music. Enjoy a two hour dinner cruise with music that is sure to get your hands clapping and feet tapping!!     (B, D)

Saturday, April 27
Enjoy full hot breakfast buffet in the restaurant area before departing for the Creation Museum.  The Creation Museum presents a unique and unparalleled experience, a walk through time portraying significant, life-altering events of the past, illuminating the effects of biblical history on our present and future world. Be prepared to experience history in a completely unprecedented way. The state-of-the-art 65,000 square foot museum brings the pages of the Bible to life, casting its characters and animals in dynamic form and placing them in familiar settings.
Adam and Eve live in the Garden of Eden. Children play and dinosaurs roam near Eden’s Rivers. The serpent coils cunningly in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Majestic murals, great masterpieces brimming with pulsating colors and details, provide a backdrop for many of the settings. In addition you can visit the beautiful seasonal Botanical Gardens - with a mile of walking paths, the Petting Zoo, and extensive Gift Shop.
Lunch is available at Noah’s Café or the many kiosks available throughout the complex. Then, time to reflect on the unique places visited & sites seen as the countryside rolls by on our return home.    (B)
