Monday, October 15 - Today we will depart for Indiana.  This afternoon arrive at Hillforest Mansion for a Tour and some Wine & Cheese.  Overlooking the Ohio River, this former Riverboat Captain’s home was built in 1855 and reflects the opulence of that era. Guests will tour the entire mansion that has been carefully restored. The suspended staircase was patterned after the grand salon on the more elaborate riverboats of the time, and the belvedere overlooking the river was designed after a pilot house. Guests will love the view and can walk around the parlor or outside sipping wine and munching on cheese. Next, we will depart for Rising STAR CASINO in Rising Sun, IN.  Arrive at our host property - Guests will enjoy this resort styled property perched on the Ohio River. Relax in one of the comfortable hotel rooms featuring several wonderful guest amenities. With the tremendous variety of slots and table games Rising Star Casino Resort has to offer, there's nothing like the thrill of hitting a jackpot or turning over a winning card. They're out to WIN you over! Dinner this evening is a time to indulge and enjoy the bountiful River View Buffet. Guests will have vouchers and will be able to dine at anytime this evening.  (D)

Tuesday, October 16 - This morning we’ll depart for Madison, IN.  Please be sure you have what you need for the entire day/evening. Jackets, cards, books, games etc. You will not be able to retrieve anything from the coach until after 5:00 pm this evening. This morning we will board the Belle of Louisville Riverboat for a 5 1/2 hour cruise. Guests will hear a narration about the river while cruising and also be able to participate in trivia games. This is the perfect time of the year to see all the beauty offered along the banks of the Ohio River. Enjoy a
leisurely cruise to Louisville that includes entertainment, games, full hot lunch buffet and unlimited non-alcoholic
beverages (soft drinks and coffee) and popcorn throughout your cruise. Since her berth in 1914, the Belle of Louisville has taken over 7 million people for a cruise on America's inland waterways. The Belle is America's last true Mississippi river steamboat still in operation, and turned 100 years old in October of 2014. Guests are welcome to tour the engine room, dance, play games (or bring decks of cards) and enjoy the fall color. Guests will enjoy a full buffet lunch while cruising on the river.  This evening is our arrival to the Raddison Lakeview in Clarksville Indiana - the Sunny Side of Louisville – less than two minutes from the River and downtown Louisville. This property is a full-service hotel. Dinner this evening is at the Iroquois Park Amphitheater. Once dinner is over, we will enjoy the Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular. Over 5000 intricately carved pumpkins over a 1⁄4 mile walking trail. Each jack-o-lantern is totally different and illuminated at night as an art show. Experience the glow of thousands of pumpkins, set in a magical display of artistry during this night-time Spectacular and feast your eyes on thousands of artfully carved Jack-o-lanterns depicting people, places and scenes from popular culture to old-time favorites and everything in between;—all with painstaking detail and amazing intricacy.  (B/L/D)

Wednesday, October 17 - This morning we will meet a local guide who will give guests the history of Louisville - Ghost Tour of Old Louisville. Often called the original Sin City, Old Louisville offers stories of love on the rocks, money and fame won and lost, and a collection of architecture that will wow you. Secrets hide within Old Louisville, as do the spirits that refuse to vacate the homes. You will experience a narrated tour through Louisville’s first suburb...sit back and enjoy a ghostly tale from a local performer and then discover the hidden charms of Floral Terrace, where a phantom from the Great Depression still lingers in the shadows. See where tobacco barons and bourbon kings made their homes. Tour also includes Happy Balls, homemade bourbon balls from Old Louisville!  Next, we will Tour the Conrad Caldwell House Museum. May the Spirit be with you.....
Let the ghost of Elaine Caldwell take you through this mansion as you explore the favorite haunts of the Spirits of the Victorian era. Upon arrival we will be greeted with a delicious welcoming beverage of goblin spit or beetle juice before making our way to Caldwell Hall. The tour follows in the “footsteps” of the Ghosts of the Conrad-Caldwell house as they take us on a tour through the mansion and share their favorite haunts throughout the historic Richardsonian Romanesque home.  Lunch is included at The Troll Pub. The Troll Pub is located on the site of the original Galt House Hotel, built in 1834. A fire ravaged the building in 1865 and destroyed the Galt House. After that fire, the Louisville and Nashville Railroad built its headquarters on the site in 1877 where it remained until 1907. During this time, many Kentucky bourbon distilleries moved into the area and the block became known as Whiskey Row. The Troll under the Bridge was the original basement and used to store Bourbon and other illegal spirits. Guests will dine on tables that are made out of the beams of the Original Galt House and show signs of the fire. Return home by early evening.  (B/L)
