Friday, September 28 - Today we will spend time on the road, enjoying the scenery and getting to know our fellow travelers.  Relax -- it’s your first day of vacation!  After an included dinner at Cracker Barrel, we’ll spend the night at the Hampton Inn in Mansfield, OH.   (Dinner)

Saturday, September 29 - Rise & shine!  After a breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for another scenic drive today. This evening we will arrive and check into our hotel, the Hampton Inn in Schenectady, NY.    (Breakfast)

Sunday, September 30 -   After a breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Vermont!  Stop in Bennington Vermont for a tour of the Vermont Covered Bridge Museum this morning.   The museum that is shaped like a covered bridge features exhibits on how and why the bridges were built and what happened to them.  Then travel to Plymouth Village where you’ll visit the birthplace and boyhood home of Calvin Coolidge. This historic site of our 30th President is a nearly perfect example of an early 20th century Vermont hill town.  This rural village remains virtually unchanged since 1923! You’ll see the homes of Calvin Coolidge's family and neighbors, the community church, cheese factory, one-room schoolhouse, and general store that have been carefully preserved, many with original furnishings. A box lunch is included at the Calvin Coolidge estate.  Visit Quechee Gorge State Park, known as "Vermont's Little Grand Canyon" for a photo stop. This afternoon, tour the King Arthur Factory and oversee the sweet smells of baking this morning.  Make your way across Vermont to your secluded lake view resort nestled in the eastern corner of the Granite State. Enjoy a welcome reception and four-course dinner at your leisure in the waterfront dining room upon arrival at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, VT.  The resort will be your home for one evening.  (Breakfast, Box Lunch, Dinner)

Monday, October 1 - Enjoy breakfast included at the resort. Visit Moultonborough Store, a classic New England country store before exploring the New Hampshire Lakes Region with a fully narrated luncheon cruise on the MS Mount Washington. Enjoy the captain's commentary as the ship makes its way around the Granite State's largest lake with over 18 miles of shoreline and over 200 islands. Have lunch on own on board as you sail along the lake. Next tour the Castle in the Clouds with spectacular views from this mountaintop estate. and have dinner included in the lakes region before settling in to your four diamond upscale resort in the heart of New Hampshire’s White Mountains for two evenings. The Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa is one of America’s truly grand hotels. This classic resorts features an array of offerings and amenities which includes a full service spa facility, indoor pool & fitness facilities in a timeless storybook stetting. (Breakfast & Dinner)
Tuesday, October 2 - Enjoy a full breakfast is included this morning at the hotel.  Ride on the world's first mountain climbing cog railway.  You'll board the Mt. Washington Cog Railway - the only one still powered entirely by steam - for your 3 hour trip to the summit of the highest mountain in the northeast, Mt. Washington. (Bring a jacket as it is often windy and much cooler at the summit.) Enjoy a soup & sandwich buffet lunch before you’ll travel to the charming town of Bethlehem where you’ll visit the Rocks Estate.  Enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride through and learn about this 1400 acre turn-of-the-century estate is the education center of the Society of the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. The estate features a working farm, formal gardens, 32 historic buildings, a maple sugar museum and fantastic sweeping views. You'll be treated to an interactive virtual tour of the actual sap boiling process in the new sugarhouse and maple museum.  Learn how this sweetest of treats was made from the time of Native Americans to present day.  Return to the resort and freshen up for an included dinner.   (Breakfast, Buffet Lunch, Dinner)

Wednesday, October 3 - After a full breakfast, make your way today from the mountains to the sea! Travel to the pristine southern Maine coast and meet your local guide for a narrated tour of Maine’s largest city by the sea, Portland. You’ll see views of Longfellow’s boyhood home, sea captain houses and the elegant Victoria Mansion as you drive through historic neighborhoods overlooking the islands of Casco Bay in Portland Harbor.  Your tour includes a stop at Portland Head Lighthouse.  This historic landmark is the most photographed lighthouse in America, set in Fort Williams Park.  You’ll have time for shopping along cobblestone streets and lunch on own in Portland's historic waterfront district, the Old Port Exchange.  Travel south to meet you your guide for a narrated tour of the beautiful coastal villages of Kennebunk & Kennebunkport. You’ll drive past the sandy beaches and rocky coastline, past the George Bush estate at Walker’s Point, hear the history of these shipbuilding towns and the legend of the Wedding Cake House. Also visit the Franciscan Monastery with its nicely groomed lawns, outdoor shrines, and chapel.  Continue south to enjoy a wine and cheese welcome reception upon arrival at your south coast Maine resort in Ogunquit, Maine for two nights. Settle into the comforts of the Meadowmere Resort with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, pub and movie theater.  A Maine Tour “Lobsterette” will meet you at the hotel with your souvenir lobster hats.  Dinner included this evening will be at a near by restaurant.  (Breakfast & Dinner)

Thursday, October 4 - A deluxe continental breakfast included this morning before you’ll stop for a photo of Maine's southernmost lighthouse, the Nubble Light in Cape Neddick near York Beach.  Next, you’ll spend time exploring historic Portsmouth, New Hampshire and the seacoast region.  First meet your local guide for a narrated riding tour of the Portsmouth Harbor Trail's highlights.  Starting in Market Square, your guide will lead you through downtown, along the waterfront and then down to Portsmouth's historic residential South End.  The tour provides an intimate look at Portsmouth's early and ongoing relationship with the river.  You will also hear the fascinating stories of early settlers, patriots, ship captains, and industrialists.  You'll stop along the way at St. John's Church to see the exceptional trompe d'oeil ceiling.  At Prescott Park you will wander through the gardens and view the 200-year old Portsmouth Shipyard across the river where today US submarines are serviced.  Lunch on your own in Portsmouth this afternoon.  You’ll travel to Perkins Cove, where you’ll board a special lobster tour boat to learn how the Maine lobstermen make their living.  Return to the hotel for some free time and refresh.  Don your souvenir Maine lobster hat for a classic lobsterbake theme dinner with sing-along entertainment.  You’ll feast on your choice of Maine boiled lobster or barbecued chicken, plus chowder, cultivated mussels, corn on the cob, Maine potatoes, and blueberry cake.  (Deluxe Continental Breakfast, Lobster Dinner)

Friday, October 5 - After breakfast this morning we will continue our scenic journey for Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  After rest & meal stops enroute we will check into our hotel, The Hilton Garden Inn Harrisburg.    (Breakfast)

Saturday, October 6 - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.  This morning we will visit the Flight 93 National Memorial. The Flight 93 National Memorial is located at the site of the crash of United Airlines Flight 93, which was hijacked in the September 11 attacks. The memorial was made to honor the passengers and crew of Flight 93, who stopped the terrorists from reaching their target by fighting the hijackers. A concrete and glass visitor center was opened on September 10, 2015, situated on a hill overlooking the crash site and the white marble Wall of Names. An observation platform at the visitor center and the white marble wall are both aligned beneath the path of Flight 93.  This afternoon we continue on our picturesque drive to Dublin, Ohio.    This evening we arrive and check into our hotel for the night, the Drury Inn & Suites.    (Breakfast)

Sunday, October 7 -   Enjoy a hot buffet breakfast at the hotel before departing for Indianapolis, IN for an included lunch at The Rathskeller Restaurant.  This afternoon we will make your way home with our colorful New England memories!     (Breakfast, Lunch)

$300.00 per person deposit due with reservation.

Cancellation Policy/Refunds

If you must cancel on a 1 day tour and it is within 10 days of departure, refunds will be based on deposits returned to Mid-American Coaches prior to trip departure.  We do however, allow you to get another person to fill your seat.   If  we have a wait list, we will try to fill the seat from our wait list.  If we do not have a standby list, you will not receive a refund.
Once final payment (30days prior) is made on multi day trips 2 or more days,  cancellation of passengers will have to be filed on the cancellation insurance that is available  for all multi-day tours.  No insurance is sold on 2 day trips.
If you have elected to not purchase the insurance, Mid-American Coaches has the right to retain any monies paid by customer.  If this seat is resold, then at that point you may receive a refund.
Any fly/international/rail/cruise tours will have exceptions that will be covered at the time of booking.
If you are forced to leave a tour anytime after departure, refunds will be based on monies that are recoverable.  Refunds cannot be made for unused motorcoach transportation.
